The Position
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for planning, designing, and delivering construction and maintenance programs for Council. You will work closely with the Director Infrastructure Services, Manager Works and other senior staff to ensure delivery of projects within scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
You’ll lead a small, dedicated team, and manage end-to-end project delivery including project scoping, planning and development, procurement and contract management, construction delivery, risk management, stakeholder communication, project tracking and reporting.

About You
You will bring:
Civil engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
Project planning and delivery experience, plus strong contract management skills
Ability to provide technical advice and support
High level written and verbal communication skills

This is achieved through electrical and mechanical repair and overhaul on a broad range of equipment and technologies. The following sensors/networks are included:
The Maintenance Support Officer position operates as part of the Operational Technology and Engineering (OTE) section. The OTE section is made up of a diverse team of specialists and engineers who are responsible for the design, development and sustainment of the Bureau of Meteorology owned observing equipment. This position focuses on the activities to support the Bureau's current and future Observations Network equipment.

Day to day, there will be some modelling involved so skills in Revit MEP is a must, however, day to day you will spend your time collaborating the project teams, identifying, coordinating and resolving clashes within the model and chairing coordination meetings. You will be responsible for driving standards on the project and providing QA on the model.
Our client is the leading bespoke electrical and mechanical contractor in NSW. They are family-owned and put their people first. Safety in every project is paramount. As is technical innovation and doing the right thing. It's these values and principles that have kept clients coming back to them for over 15 years.
They specialise in mechanical and electrical design and construction contractors but are supported by a specialist 24/7 maintenance arm. They are also branching into design consulting. They are always looking for opportunities to offer more.
Project-wise, they focus on projects in the $ 10-50 million range (sometimes higher) and can offer you exposure to projects that include hospitals, automated warehouses + distribution centres, commercial buildings, specialist laboratories and data centres/mission-critical facilities.
