This is not a tech or engineering role – it’s a frontline customer service and compliance position. You’ll be speaking with clients daily by phone and email, guiding them through applications, answering questions, and ensuring their submissions meet requirements.

Managing a high volume of inbound client calls and emails

The Aviation, Land and Maritime Transport (ALMT) Program is responsible for the Bureau's business relationships with service delivery partners, government stakeholders, and both domestic and international customers operating in the aviation, land and maritime transport sectors.
The Aviation Customer Engagement team is responsible for leading engagement with the Australian aviation industry. As a Customer Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a
customer service team and an internal sales team. Your main goal is to promote and deliver
an exceptional customer experience to increase sales and retain customers. You will also be a
key point of contact for management, assisting with hiring and training, and keeping them
updated on team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Team Leadership: Support the team to achieve their targets and deliverables on a
daily basis. You will provide clear instructions, manage staffing, and ensure team
members understand their roles. You will also participate in "on the floor" activities to
provide guidance and assistance.
● Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, including
tracking inbound/outbound calls and other metrics. You will coach, motivate, and retain

● Customer Service & Sales: Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional
manner to maintain customer retention. You'll also identify opportunities to upsell and

KPI-monitored environment.

○ 2 years of demonstrated customer service, sales experience, and leadership

○ Competence in Microsoft Office Packages.
