About The Role:
Reporting into the Centre Manager, our Storage Consultants are vital within our business, as they work closely with our customers and deliver seamless service. We are now looking to recruit a Part Time Storage Consultant to work at our Mitchell centre as well as surrounding centres in and around ACT. The role is exciting & varied, encompassing customer service, administration, and operational tasks. You will be working for a dynamic and innovative company that is at the forefront of the self-storage industry.
The required roster for this role will be:
Week 1: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-5pm
Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the ultimate customer experience by supporting and guiding our customers in making the best choice for their storage needs.
Conduct centre tours and walk throughs, showcasing our facilities.
Maintain the centres presentation, cleanliness and general operational duties.
Action general administration duties such as customer contracts, inventory, and insurance claims
Achieve KPIs and targets to ensure our centres always represent our high standards.
Maintain a safe and secure centre by adhering to workplace health and safety procedures.
About You:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Customer-centric and sales oriented.
Proficient at using technology and multitasking between different systems.
Motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude.
Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
Growth mindset with a genuine willingness to learn.
Driver’s license and car (required).
Forklift license (desirable).
The ability to work on a rotating roster, with every second Saturday from 9am-2pm.

To deliver this customer experience the candidate would manage end to end claims processes including lodgement, adjudication, case management and settlements of Insurance and Warranty claims.
Reporting to the Claims Team Leader you would be responsible for:
Delivering excellent service for all customers and suppliers, by providing timely and accurate response over the phone and via e-mail
Resolving claims in the most cost effective and time efficient manner, whilst complying to all regulatory requirements
Managing claim enquiries received via inbound / outbound calls and emails.
Ability to coordinate administrative duties in between calls and emails
Resolving customer complaints and/or objections within delegated authority to ensure best possible outcome for the customer and Assurant
Working effectively in a team environment, collaborating with others and sharing knowledge and skills to achieve team goals and objectives
Previous Customer Service and/or Call Centre experience
Previous experience in insurance and warranty (desirable but not essential - we will train you!)
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
A pleasant and professional phone manner
Great team player
Ability to meet service levels and individual KPI’s
Ability to prioritise and multi-task
Decision making skills and ability to problem solve
