About the role

  • Assisting the Restaurant & Bar Manager with day-to-day operations of all Food & Beverage outlets.

  • Maintain a constant focus on providing an excellent guest experience at all times.

  • Lead, mentor and train the food & beverage team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment.

  • Assist in recruitment and induction of new team members.

  • Ensure that team members are briefed on all specials and standard menu items.

  • Ensure cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, utensils and other materials and equipment.

  • Handle any escalated guest complaints

  • Provide courteous, efficient and professional service to exceed guest expectations.

  • Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.

  • Supervise day-to-day food & beverage requirements.

About You

  • Have an absolute “can-do” attitude. 

  • You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, and are looking to work in a larger operation or a Team Leader ready for their next step.

  • Previous experience within a hotel environment is preferable, however, not essential.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts as the business requires, including late finishes, weekend and public holidays. 

  • Good knowledge of food and beverage service and products. 

  • Have Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (mandatory).

  • Well-groomed and professional in appearance.

  • Flexible to work variable shifts including early starts, weekends and public holidays.

  • RSA & Food Safety Certificate is essential.

As an integral member of the housekeeping team, the Housekeeping Cleaners (WOBCO's - Workers of Burgmann College) assist the College with maintaining the cleanliness of the common areas of the College and ensure resident rooms are guest ready as required.  You will need to be a team player, great communicator, flexible and have an ability to work unsupervised.  *Please request the Duty Statement for full details (see below). 

Experience and Skills: 

  1. Experience of 1-2 years in a similar role with general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms/showers, making beds.

About the position
Our Wests New Lambton site is currently seeking a casual Bistro Server to join the team. This opportunity is responsible and key to our front of house and back of house operations in our food court. You will provide outstanding customer service across our Bistro, Patisserie, Emporium and New Beijing food outlets. Duties will include:
