About the role

  • Prepare, cook, and present authentic Asian dishes — especially hot pot soups, broths, sauces, and side dishes.

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality, hygiene, and consistency.

  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.

  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

  • Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal specials.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS standards.

  • Deliver food services based on customer choices.

  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure high standards at every stage.

  • Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook specialising in Asian cuisines.

  • Strong knowledge of hot pot preparation, sauces, condiments, and broth-making

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery qualification or above.

  • Ability to manage kitchen operations and work under pressure

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Availability to work weekends and evenings
