About the role
We are looking for dedicated Catering Assistants to become part of the kitchen team at our client's aged care facility in DENILIQUIN, NSW.
The successful applicant will be required to commence work immediately.
Shift Schedule
Multiple weekend and afternoon shift across Monday to Sunday.
Casual and Part time roles are available.
Weekend, Public Holiday and Casual Loadings apply.
* The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one.
Skills and experience
Reliable and punctual
Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines
Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.
The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.
Well-presented and good customer service skills.
Access to own reliable transport.
Key Responsibilities
Providing meal service to aged care residents.
Cleaning of serveries and dining room set up
Adhering to and completing food safety/quality assurance documents
Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals
Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen
Function set up and clear down
Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks
