Duties:

  • Responsibility of the entire site including staff, production and inventory

  • Liaise with Technical Support –QA Co-Ordinator, providing assistance with External/Internal Audits and WINs

  • Proactive continuous improvement

Skills and Experience:

  • Small Batch Chemical Compounding

  • High standard of safety working with Dangerous Goods

  • Able to work methodically and accurately

  • Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain equipment

  • Forklift Licence is preferred  

  • First Aid Certification would be preferred

About you 

  • You hold a full or probationary Australian motorcycle licence, and ride a geared motorcycle currently, regularly, and confidently 
  • On employment, you’ll need to successfully pass our mandatory and practical motorcycle assessment
  • You are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if required
  • You have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mail
  • You enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly 
  • You will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet)
  • You are open to being flexible to transition to be trained and deliver on an Electric Delivery Vehicle if business requirements change

  • Pay rate for this role is $32.34ph for the first 3 months, then $36.99ph once fully trained plus 12% superannuation

Training and Support

At Australia Post, our training and induction programs offer support to ensure we set you up for success. You will attend an induction in your first week with our Learning and Development Team followed by a site-specific induction at your respective facility and additional online learning modules. As a new employee, you will receive one-on-one coaching, followed by regular check-ins with your Manager and Trainer to track progress, provide feedback, and discuss any support needed. We assess development at the end of each month during your probationary period, with adjustments or additional training as required. The program includes site-specific inductions and hands-on training, building employees up to full delivery capacity within six weeks. Our approach is flexible, ensuring long-term success and continuous growth.
