Role Description

We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute General Manager to join our innovative team.

Working with our Directors and the experienced Leadership Team, additionally, you will be responsible for preparing feasibilities, securing new lease or management agreements, developing high-value partnerships, and shaping the future of parking and mobility solutions. You will work closely with shareholders and directors, senior leaders, landlords, industry consultants and government stakeholders to deliver deals that drive long-term growth and strengthen our market position.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager located in the Greater Brisbane Area. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing strategic plans to maximise the value of parking assets. Tasks include monitoring performance, implementing innovative solutions, and maintaining strong tenant relationships. The role involves decision making, problem solving, and ensuring operational efficiency to achieve organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead First Parking’s operational, financial, and strategic performance across multiple car park assets
• Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities including lease and management agreements
• Develop and deliver high-impact proposals, tenders, and commercial partnerships
• Oversee financial feasibilities and business cases for growth and investment opportunities
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with landlords, councils, and property industry stakeholders
• Guide and mentor the leadership team to achieve operational excellence and business expansion goals
• Ensure a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and exceptional customer experience
• Report directly to Directors on performance metrics, risks, and strategic outcomes

Skills & Experience

• 5+ Proven leadership experience in property, parking, infrastructure, or related service sectors
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record in deal-making, leasing, or partnership development
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage P&L, and deliver against business growth targets
• Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving capability and sound decision-making judgment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders and partners
• Proficiency in technology-driven solutions and operational systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field (MBA highly regarded)
• Experience in mobility, car parking, or commercial property management will be well regarded
