The Role

About the Role…

The position is responsible for driving income from major donors for a range of Taronga's conservation projects.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Implementing and coordinating marketing communications
  • Executing marketing strategy for the organization in-person seminars and online learning
  • Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing & communications activities
  • Creating & distributing marketing collateral (including eDMs newsletters, surveys, communications, print)
  • Preparing pre and post event communication
  • Adhering to tight deadlines

What Will You Bring?

  • 4+ years' experience in digital marketing in Graphic designing
  • Previous experience building and sending eDM campaigns such as email newsletters
  • Previous experience with a CRM such as Active Campaign or similar
  • Previous experience with a CMS such as WordPress or similar
  • Social media organic experience - Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (intermediate to advanced, primarily InDesign but others desirable)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to deal with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent in Graphic designing

Desirable skills:

  • Previous experience within the Health / Education / Publication / Agency/ Research industry
  • Learning management system (LMS) experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop) , Graphic designing
  • Database experience
  • Medical or event marketing experience
  • Experience using data analytics and reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Digital, Marketing, Communications, Events)
