The Australian Logistics Council (ALC) is the independent and trusted voice of modern supply chain for Australia. We represent the nation’s major logistics and supply chain companies, infrastructure owners and service providers, driving productivity, efficiency and sustainability for the sector.
We are seeking a talented Melbourne based Communications & Marketing Officer to lead strategic communications, brand management, media engagement and marketing initiatives that amplify ALC’s reputation and impact across government, industry and the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing ALC’s communications and marketing strategy
Creating and publishing engaging, high-quality content across digital, print and media channels
Managing ALC’s website, LinkedIn, e-newsletters and campaign platforms
Leading media engagement and public relations activity
Designing digital and print collateral for major campaigns and events
Supporting stakeholder engagement through strategic messaging and event promotion
Supporting speech writing, publication development, crisis communications and managing external communications partners
About you:
Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field
Three to five years’ experience in communications and/or marketing roles
Demonstrated capability in writing, editing and content creation
Experience managing digital channels, media relations and CRM campaigns
Strong design skills using Canva or similar tools
Highly organised, collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
