About the role
Join Core Air as a full-time HVAC technician based in Welshpool. We are looking for an installation, maintenance, and repair guru. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers stay cool and comfortable all year round.
What you'll be doing (but not limited to)
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems
Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC equipment
Install new HVAC systems and replace aging equipment and parts
Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients
What we're looking for
Fully qualified with Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills
Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick) required
Minimum 2-3 years experience with commercial HVAC
Valid Australian driver's licence
Current White Card (Construction Induction Training) certification
Restricted Electrical Licence for HVAC electrical work

Autoworks Mount Thorley is a locally owned business based in Mt Thorley NSW working in conjunction with Weldtech Engineering. We offer a wide range of services from light vehicle repairs and maintenance, logbook / fleet servicing, labour hire, field service maintenance / breakdowns, rebuilds, fabrication and in-house works at our facilities operating at 24-30 Woodlands Rd Mt Thorley.
Autoworks LV Workshop includes 5x 2 post hoists and 1x 4 post hoist, wheel alignment machine and the latest tooling and software for technician ease.

About the role
We are seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics / Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our growing team based either at our workshop in Mt Thorley (10 mins from Singleton) or in a field service role supporting our Newcastle operations. Working on a wide variety of light vehicles, trucks and small plant. The successful applicants will have previous experience in similar roles and be a self starter. Autoworks workshop takes on a wide variety of work however is primarily 4x4 based.
Positions
Field Service Role: Includes work ute and fuel card, working in Newcastle supporting our contracts on light vehicle fleets. (Hilux's, Landcruisers, Triton's, Hiace's, Rangers etc) This includes servicing and breakdown repairs on the above vehicles and small plant and equipment.
2x Workshop Based Roles: Based in Mt Thorley working on a wide range of vehicles completing all tasks from servicing, all major repairs, suspension upgrades on a wide variety of vehicles, however primarily Hilux's, Landcruisers, Triton's, Rangers etc.
Note: These roles are NOT based on a mine site
