DVC Projects is a fast-growing South Australian building company specialising in high-quality renovations, extensions, and architectural refurbishments. We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to help deliver premium residential projects across Adelaide.
About the RoleAs our Leading Hand Carpenter, you will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day site activities, supervising trades, and ensuring our projects are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the Site Manager and Director, taking ownership of workmanship, timelines, and site safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor carpentry teams on renovation and extension projects
Interpret and work from architectural drawings and specifications
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure smooth workflow on site
Undertake high-quality carpentry works including framing, fix, fit-off, cladding, and architectural detailing
Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with WHS requirements
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and project management
Assist with scheduling, materials ordering, and daily reporting
Qualified Carpenter (Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent)
Minimum 4–5 years experience in residential construction
Previous Leading Hand or Senior Carpenter experience is highly desirable
Strong ability to manage teams and drive productivity
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
White Card & valid driver’s licence
Ability to problem-solve on site and work under minimal supervision
Professional, reliable, and takes pride in delivering exceptional outcomes

With steady growth and ongoing demand, we’re looking for a motivated 1st year apprentice or construction labourer to join our crew. You’ll be working alongside experienced tradesmen.
We operate across two divisions, with our residential team based across Newcastle and our commercial division is about to kick off a 71 home contract running until May 2026 with plans for the next stage.
The role can sit within either division, depending on the candidate and companies preferences.
What you'll be doing
Working within the team to complete projects ranging of designer residential & commercial projects, single & multi residential projects, small & large commercial projects such as schools, golf courses, pubs & clubs
Hands-on construction including earthworks, concreting, paving, tiling, decking, brick/block laying, retaining walls, fencing, drainage, turf installation and more

About the role
As the Locksmith Service Manager at ToplockNT, you will be responsible for leading and managing the locksmith service operations in Darwin and Katherine, NT. With 3 operational locations employing 14 on road locksmiths, this full-time position is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of locksmith services to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the locksmith service team, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring the work of technicians
Maintaining current Govt contracts and meeting KPI's
Ensuring all locksmith services are completed to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Coordinating the maintenance and repair of locksmith equipment and tools
Liaising with customers to address any concerns or issues and provide exceptional customer service
Monitoring and analysing service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and profitability of the locksmith service operations
Providing mentorship and training to junior locksmith technicians to develop their skills and expertise
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a locksmith or related service management role
The 5 years of experience must include demonstrated management responsibilities and leadership experience
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in locksmith services, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of various lock systems
Experience must cover all types of lock systems including residential, commercial, and automotive applications
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers and technicians
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to think critically and find creative solutions
Proficient in scheduling, resource allocation, and performance management
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
