Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of high-value clients (>$100m revenue)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven National Payroll Manager to take ownership of their standalone payroll function. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the Financial Controller. You responsibilities will include:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees across multiple awards and employment types
Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, modern awards, and superannuation requirements
Process terminations, redundancies, and leave entitlements accurately and within legislative timeframes
Prepare payroll journals and reconciliations for monthly financial reporting
Liaise with HR on employee queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally
Manage relationships with external payroll providers and stay current with legislative changes
Contribute to year-end processes including EOFY reconciliations, payment summaries, and audit requirements
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and system efficiencies
To be considered for this outstanding role, you will have at least 5-6 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll. Key Responsibilities:
Process fortnightly payroll cycles for both salaried and time & attendance employees.

Maintain and update payroll employee files and payroll data.
Manage manual payments, leave entitlements, workers’ compensation payments, and payroll-related employee changes, new starters, terminations.
Identify and escalate award and/or contract interpretation discrepancies.
Reconcile payroll reports and prepare payroll summaries.
Respond to internal and external payroll enquiries.
Support management with payroll-related information and reports.
Support payroll audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
