An exciting opportunity currently exists within the The Emmaus College Music team. We are seeking a term-time Instrumental Music Tutor in Brass, Woodwind and Percussion for 16.5hpw (Monday 8:30am to 11:30am, Tuesday 8:30am to 3:00pm, Wednesday 8am to 4pm) to commence from January 2026.
Specific Duties
Facilitate Instrumental Music lessons for Brass, Woodwind and Percussion at Catholic Secondary Colleges and Catholic Primary Schools in North and South Rockhampton.
Assist with the timetables for Instrumental Music lessons.
Monitor student attendance at Instrumental Music lessons and notify parents when students are not attending regularly.
Assist with the distribution of all information forms for the Instrumental Music Program under the guidance of the Instrumental Music Coordinator.
Communicate with the Director: Instrumental Music regularly.
Liaise with parents concerning enquiries about the students that they are responsible for in the Instrumental Music Program.
Report on Instrumental Music students each Semester.
Keep accurate rolls for the purposes of accounts to parents.
Ensure clear communication channels with the Ensemble Directors.
Assist with the Ensemble Program including Ensemble directing, conducting, camps and other activities when required.

About the role
The School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences are seeking a Project Coordinator to play a key role in the strategic planning, implementation, and successful delivery of the new Master of Physiotherapy course, set to launch at the Wollongong campus in 2028 and the Liverpool campus in 2029.
In this role, you will work closely with the Academic Project Lead across all stages of the project, supporting staff recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with internal and external partners. You will manage key project activities, monitor progress against milestones, and contribute to risk management and quality assurance to ensure the program is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

Position Overview
The position is funded by an Australian Research Council Discovery Project, based in the School of Sociology within the Research School of Social Sciences (RSSS). We are seeking a highly capable and self-motivated Research Fellow to work on the Experimenting with Estrogen project, funded by an Australian Research Council Discovery Project Grant. This project aims to investigate how scientists, clinicians and lay people are experimenting with the hormone estrogen.
The Research Fellow will design an independent project that will map lay estrogen knowledge and ‘self-health’ practices through content analysis of websites, apps, social media and educational materials and consider how they engage and challenge scientific and medical accounts of hormonal action, *** and gender, health and wellbeing. This research will be in close conversation with a related interview-based project lead by Prof Mary Lou Rasmussen. Our core aim is to produce detailed and accurate knowledge about lay estrogen-related education and health practices.
The fellow will also be expected to contribute to undergraduate course teaching in the School of Sociology and provide supervision to undergraduate research assistants, Honours and Higher Degree by Research students as required.
The Person
We are seeking an early career researcher to undertake independent research. The research fellow is expected to work with the research team (Professors Celia Roberts, Mary Lou Rasmussen and Helen Keane – all in the School of Sociology at ANU) and will be directly supervised by Professor Rasmussen. The research fellow will develop an independent research program, engage in collaborative research projects, contribute to undergraduate teaching within the School of Sociology, and support the promotion of project activities, including through website development and social media outreach.
