The Position
This role provides creative interpretation, design and application of the ANU brand across our Chinese social media channels, including Weibo, WeChat and Redbook.
The Digital Designer’s role sits within our creative studio and works closely with Brand & Marketing team members to create and implement thumb-stopping content on the ANU China social media channels.
The Person
As a native Mandarin speaker, you'll have advanced knowledge of Chinese social media and Chinese culture. You’ll be an experienced social media creator with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. Creativity, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously are required skills.

Position Summary
The Course Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Dean to ensure overall coherence of teaching operations and organisational priorities to support the continuing viability and regulatory compliance of the Institute. The Course Coordinator is responsible for the efficient, effective and equitable delivery of a high-quality course. This includes responsibilities for development and implementation of a quality learning and teaching framework, course development and accreditation, management of resources specific to the course and provision of academic services that enrich the student experience. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Course Coordinator’s position include:
Provide academic leadership of teaching and learning in the Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education offered by LIHE.
Design and implement teaching strategies and practices to enhance student engagement and the student learning experience.
Teach units in an area of expertise, showing flair, creativity, and an engaging teaching style to students from diverse backgrounds.
Monitor the Student Portal webpages for each unit ensuring that academic staff have timely and appropriate access.
Contribute to the development of timetables for each period of study in consultation with Student Support Manager and the Dean.
Liaise with academic staff in ensuring student progress including monitoring attendance records.
Oversee and report on student satisfaction surveys and staff satisfaction surveys for each term of study.
Ensure prescribed and recommended texts per unit are available to students and staff prior to commencement of term of study.
Compile regular reports on assessment, course review and moderation for the Teaching and Learning Committee, Course and Industry Advisory Committee as well as the Dean.
Initiate, develop and maintain partnerships with industry, placement providers and professional groups to support LIHE strategic objectives and deliver quality student outcomes.
Provide induction programs for placement providers and classroom educators.
Review Professional Experience placements, quality, student experience and outcomes.
Mentor LIHE academic staff in their acquisition of appropriate digital skills and the adoption of innovative teaching practices in their respective field of study.
Work collaboratively with academic and professional staff and lead teams to the achievement of planned outcomes.
Selection Criteria
Essential
A higher research degree such as PhD. or Professional Doctorate in Early Childhood Education.
Demonstrated experience in effective learning and teaching including ability to develop scholarly, innovative and flexible approaches to teaching and learning.
Demonstrated experience of quality teaching, delivering positive student experiences and student outcomes.
Leadership and management experience within a higher education environment.
A track record of research projects, scholarly activities and publications.
Ability to build strong, sustainable academic teams, manage resources within a budget and coordinate a broad range of academic functions.
Experience with the delivery and/or management of professional experience student placements.
Experience in curriculum development and review, including the management and evaluation of learning and teaching effectiveness.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire students and staff.
Proven success in working collaboratively and an ability to build highly productive relationships across a range of internal and external partners.
Sound knowledge of TEQSA and professional regulations.
