About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and reliable First Aid & CPR Trainer to deliver accredited training in HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 – Provide CPR. This role is perfect for an experienced trainer looking for flexible, ongoing work with a reputable RTO in a supportive environment. Fire Safety training experience is a bonus, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and compliant First Aid & CPR sessions
Conduct assessments in line with the training package
Maintain accurate records, including attendance and assessments
Support a range of learners to complete their training successfully
Essential Criteria:
TAE40110 (or above) Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Hold a current Australian Business Number (ABN)
Current HLTAID011 and HLTAID009 competencies
Recent industry experience and currency in First Aid/CPR
Experience in face-to-face accredited training delivery
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
Experience delivering to CALD groups or job-seeker cohorts
Fire Safety training experience (preferred but not essential)
Flexibility to travel between campuses if required

Your new team - Research Computing Services
Research Computing Services (RCS) is a department within Business Services. RCS delivers the digital research infrastructure and services for researchers at The University of Melbourne. RCS operate on-premise High-Performance Computing (HPC), Cloud Computing and General-Purpose Graphical Processing Unit (GPGPU) computational platforms. RCS operate over 20 PB of research data storage to enable data-driven research and collaboration and a range of data management services and provide a range of consultation services to support the development of custom computation and data management solutions. RCS also contributes to the national eResearch infrastructure initiative the ARDC's Nectar Research Cloud and facilitate access to Australia's national supercomputer facility NCI.
