We are currently seeking a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join the team. This role will be working with the 4-5 year olds running our Kindy program.

Above award salary - Up to $55 per hour depending on qualification and experience.

About the role

We are looking for an engaged & enthusiastic ECT to run our school readiness program & the pre school room, this room has inclusion support staff & operates over ratio.

Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

You will:

• Possess a genuine desire to care for and develop children aged 0-5 years.

• hold the early childhood teaching degree or ACECQA approved equivalent

• Teacher registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA must be obtained within 3 months of commencement.

• Have completed a Working With Children Check

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Previous experience in delivering high quality education and care ( long day setting preferable).

• Minimum of 2+ years early childhood experience is required.

• Work closely with the curriculum leader to implement educational programs that demonstrate a superior understanding of the NQF & EYLF

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with children and families

• Computer literacy essential.

• Working towards your ECT degree will be considered if you are more than 50 % completed

What We’re Looking For:

🎓 A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care —and minimum 1 year experience as a Room Leader in an ECEC setting.

💼 A warm, reliable, and team-focused attitude with a genuine love for children and education.

🛡 A valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain), First Aid, and training in Child Protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety.

📚 A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF, and best practices in early education.
