ABOUT THE POSITION. 

We are seeking a motivated and organised Water Services Coordinator to oversee and coordinate a range of water, wastewater, and stormwater network operations. In this role you will liaise between field crews, contractors, regulators and stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery, compliance, and asset integrity. This is a hands-on coordination and planning role operating at the core of their water services operations.


DUTIES. 
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations including water supply, wastewater collection, and stormwater system maintenance and works scheduling
  • Manage service requests and coordinate response actions with field crews, contractors, and external partners
  • Monitor and track job progress to ensure timely completion, including inspections, maintenance, repair, and cleaning works
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of network assets, maintenance history, and service performance
  • Prepare and assist with regulatory compliance reports, permits, water quality and safety documentation as required
  • Interpret technical plans, system maps, and GIS data to guide operations and maintenance planning
  • Communicate with stakeholders including customers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, respond to enquiries and provide updates as needed
  • Support on-call and emergency response duties if required, ensuring swift resolution of urgent water service issues

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. 
  • Degree in civil engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Previous experience in water services, utilities coordination, asset management or related operations, ideally within a water/wastewater context
  • Familiarity with water industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance procedures
  • Competence with data systems, asset-management software, GIS and mapping tools; plus proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external contractors, and clients/stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure including, for emergency response situations

About the role
We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer with LV experience to join our Transport for Tomorrow team on our Rail Infrastructure Upgrades project. 

Transport for Tomorrow is a partnership between Laing O’Rourke, KBR and Transport for NSW.

Transport for Tomorrow is delivering infrastructure upgrades and modifications of existing rail infrastructure at train stations and stabling yards across NSW, to accommodate the new Regional Rail fleet and facilitate the operation of the modified Mariyung Fleet in line with agreed operating model changes.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the design, construction, installation and commissioning of low voltage electrical systems on new infrastructure. This includes electrical systems in station buildings, structures and any associated facilities or systems required for the operation of the railway.
  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities of the project to ensure that project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications.
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting of work progress.
  • Direct interface with the construction crews to collect data on information required for project status, cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Provide direction and supervision for Site Engineers, as required.

 

You will have

  • A degree qualification in Engineering (Electrical) along with experience having worked as a Project Engineer
  • Experience with services on complex Infrastructure projects with top-tier contractors
  • Must have demonstrated LV experience
  • HV experience desirable

Join our high-performing Shepparton Operations team as a Maintenance Lead, where you’ll take a hands-on role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across our manufacturing facility.

Primary Purpose / Focus :

As the member of the Asset Management and Planning team, contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tasmania’s community infrastructure portfolio, with a particular focus on social and affordable housing, through the delivery of major land development projects.

 

The core objectives of the job are to:

  • Identify, plan and secure approval for land development projects that meet current and future demand for social and affordable housing.
  • Provide specialist land use planning advice across Homes Tasmania, with specific reference to the Community Infrastructure business unit.

Skills and experience :

  • High level interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the proven ability to identify and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions in situations of differing interests.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including organisational skills to plan, coordinate and contribute to numerous concurrent project activities whilst working in an environment subject to work pressures and change.

1. Provide high-level client and stakeholder management services to effectively represent the TCF as required.
2. Support the instigation, implementation and undertake monitoring of TCF projects.
3. Prepare discussion papers, reports and recommendations to meet TCF priorities.
4. Provide support and client management services to assist best practice grants administration and contribute to internal evaluation of TCF programs and initiatives.
5. Provide accurate, timely and well researched contributions to high-level documentation as required.
6. Participate in the TCF team and represent the TCF at public forums and events as required.
7. The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
Desirable Requirements
• Relevant tertiary or industry recognised qualifications and affiliations.
• A Current Driver’s Licence.
