Strategic Sourcing & Savings
Support sourcing activities, taking the lead where appropriate.
Analyse spend data, supplier quotes, and reports to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
Conduct benchmarking and support strategic procurement decisions.
Contracts & Supplier Relationship Management
Maintain supplier records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
Assist with contract administration, monitoring expiry dates, extensions, and service level compliance.
Support supplier onboarding and due diligence, including compliance with Modern Slavery, WHS, insurance, and privacy standards.
Contribute to supplier relationship management, including coordinating performance reviews against contract objectives.
Procurement & Business Integration
Coordinate purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure alignment with procurement policy and budget approvals.
Work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, and other departments to consolidate procurement requirements.
Provide ad hoc procurement support and reporting as requested by the Finance/Procurement leadership team.
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (preferably in multi-site environments)
Experience with spend analysis and supplier evaluations
Exposure to tendering processes and procurement/ERP systems is desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, reporting, data analysis)
Ability to interpret and compare supplier pricing and contract terms
Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills
Confident verbal and written communication across all stakeholder levels
System-savvy and quick to adapt to new tools

Your duties will include:
Operate a front-end loader to move logs within the log yard and feed them into the processing line.
Manage control room operations for sorting and splitting logs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the log yard area, including sweeping and general tidying of machines and the control room.
