Due to internal promotions, we have fantastic opportunity for a Production Plant Operator to join our team for our afternoon shift (1pm - 9pm). As a leading manufacturer of cement-based products including engineering and construction grouts, Crosbe has a strong R&D focus, with innovative products and technology. Key Responsibilities
Working in a friendly and supportive environment, the role involves:
Complying with all safety protocols, policies and procedures
Operating a fully automated blending plant and packaging line
Setting up machinery, optimising outputs and overseeing critical control points
Promptly address breakdowns to maximise equipment availability
Perform preventative maintenance that includes minor repairs and adjustments on the batching and packaging line
Maintain and enhance a clean work environment
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to prepare raw materials for use in production and unload palletised finished goods
Relieve and rotation in all areas of production and warehousing as required
About you
We are looking for an experienced Production Operator who demonstrates the following skills and capabilities:
Experience working in a production environment
Work safely and add value to the WHS culture
Possess a great attitude with self-drive, attendance and hard work ethic
Team player who can also work independently with minimal direct supervision
Ability to problem solve by using logic and reasoning to identify solutions
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Willingness to participate in continuous improvement activities
Proficient understanding of computer systems for operating and monitoring manufacturing process
Physically fit and not afraid to be hands on
Willingness to learn and develop
Ideally hold a current forklift LF licence or willing to obtain
Have a current Australian work visa (please note that we will not provide sponsorship for this role)
