Skills essential for the role
Previous experience on levers (minimum 5 years)
Current manual drivers licence (HR)
Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months - or ability to obtain)
Be able to pass a pre employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
Current First aid and CPR, or ability to obtain
Drilling certificates - desirable
Right to work in Australia
MUST RESIDE IN WA

The Role
Due to an increase in work, we have an immediate vacancy for a full time HSE Advisor to join our team.
Ideally we are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor who is also competent in Training and Assessing, however those with relevant experience and qualifications are also encouraged to apply. This role will support the site-based team in all aspects of safety.
Duties include:
Incident investigations
HSE reporting
Communicate HSE requirements to project teams
Delivering the company HSE management system
Support risk identification and conduct regular site inspections
Using our HSE software - MyOsh
Conduct Fitness for Work checks
This role will be working back to back with another HSE Advisor on a 2:1 FIFO roster (dayshift only) across two sites - flying out of Perth WA to a mine site based in the Newman area.
Requirements for this Role
The ideal candidate will meet the below requirements but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply:
Cert IV Work Health Safety - Minimum

Reporting to the Unit Manager: Technical Services, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Mine Planning Engineering Departments, playing a crucial role in overseeing and optimising mine planning activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of gold resources. You will contribute to organisational success by delivering optimised mining forecasts for underground operations through pragmatic, effective, and collaborative mine planning. These range from the short-term (implementation) through to medium-term (3 years) requirements (including annual budget forecasts) aligned to the life of mine & strategic direction of the business.
