About the role
We are currently looking for an Auto Electrician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will provide auto electrical support across both our underground and surface workshops, performing breakdown and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
Roster: 8/6 roster, 12 hours (Dayshift)
Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW
Travel Options: Resident, DIDO & FIFO

The role includes manufacture of our steel fire rated window and shutter systems for supply to projects all around Australia and New Zealand. The work is based in Auburn NSW. The environment is very clean and tidy with plenty of natural light and fresh air.
Working as a Metal Fabricator with our company means being part of a market leading team who focuses on customer service.
Our factory consists of various departments; Electrical, Industrial Fabric, Assembly, Welding and Cutting & Folding.
Overtime is available for this role.
About You
You will be friendly and enjoy working with people
Hold a valid forklift license (desirable)
Have good reading and writing skills
Experience with parts assembly including;
Steel/metal working (including grinding, cutting and assembly)
Guillotine & CNC Brake Press
Welding (mig)
Training will also be provided for our products
Must Haves
Worked in a factory environment
Certificate III Engineering-Fabrication Trade OR Certificate III Engineering-Mechanical Trade & minimum 3 years experience (desirable)
Worked with sheet metal, drills, rivet guns and other equipment
Worked with light gauge sheet metal
Ability to make accurate measurements
Read work orders and technical drawings
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
