About the Role
We’re looking for a qualified Lead Technician to join our crew at Gunning Wind Farm, located between Goulburn and Yass. You’ll be working directly on 31 wind turbines (generating up to 46.5 MW of clean energy) and substation equipment to keep everything running safely and smoothly.
This is a hands-on role—you’ll be on the tools every day, guiding a small, close-knit team of five. If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, working with your hands, and being part of a reliable crew, this could be the job for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, HV systems, and site infrastructure
Lead and supporting the team with troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Supporting safe work practices and helping your teammates
Keeping tools, parts, and safety gear organised
Completing job records and maintenance reports
Roster: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM. You will be part of a 1:3 callout roster.
What You’ll Need
Trade qualified in Electrical or Mechanical
Experience in a supervisory/leading hand role within a Maintenance environment
Intermediate level computer skills
Manual driver’s licence
