ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the overhaul, assembly, and maintenance of industrial gearboxes and rotating equipment. Your day-to-day will include:
Disassembly, inspection, and rebuild of industrial gearboxes and related components
Diagnosis of mechanical faults and assessment of worn or damaged parts
Working from engineering drawings and assembly specifications
Use of precision measuring tools and workshop machinery
Assisting with load testing and quality assurance processes
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team that delivers excellence. Ideally, you will have:
A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining) or equivalent
High Risk Licence i.e. forklift and experience with overhead cranes is desirable
Experience with industrial gearboxes, rotating equipment, or heavy machinery (highly regarded)
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading Western Australian electrical contractor with offices in Perth and Karratha, established in 2014. They specialise in providing turnkey electrical and instrumentation solutions for the industrial, commercial, and mining sectors. Services include hazardous-area installations, automation, tank gauging, and process control systems. Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 4801:2001 standards, they maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance across all projects and operations.
What You Will Be Doing:
Candidates will be based at the CBH grain storage facility in Geraldton, where they will be responsible for upgrading electrical, mechanical, control, and instrumentation systems in line with CBH standards. The role involves working closely with key infrastructure, including the installation of a switch room, one elevator tower housing two grain elevators, associated feed and dust valves, inload and outload conveyors, aeration fans, lighting systems, isolators, and motor control systems.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Exhaust Fitter / Light Fabricator to join our team at Windsor Exhaust' in Penrith NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the installation, repair, and customization of exhaust systems for a variety of vehicles. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
What you'll be doing
Inspect, diagnose, and repair exhaust systems including mufflers, catalytic converters, and related components
Fabricate custom exhaust systems and components to customer specifications
Fabricate and install aluminum and stainless-steel air intakes.
Install and replace exhaust systems and related parts
Perform regular maintenance and servicing of exhaust systems
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and offering expert advice
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Would prefer minimum 3 years' experience as an Exhaust Fitter / Fabricator or similar automotive trade role
Strong technical knowledge of exhaust system components, installation, and repair
Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and metal cutting techniques
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Experience in MIG and TIG Welding
