Key Responsibilities
Lead an experienced team of three, including work allocation.
Manage tender invitations and quotation requests while overseeing estimating works for the business.
Determine the scope of work for each project, including the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor.
Prepare estimates for planning, organising, and scheduling project work.
Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
Collaborate with the operations team as necessary on projects.
Direct communication with clients, builders, and project managers.
Manage service orders including site repairs and warranty claims.
Skills and Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel a must
Knowledge and understanding of estimating in the built sector

About the role

The Role & Business
Working as an Intermediate Contracts Administrator within a growing Head Contractor, you will be reporting to an experienced Project Manager working on a range of high profile commercial projects within Sydney. As a CA, you will be involved in all post-contract award decisions from procurement, letting subcontract trade packages, management of RFI's, variations and progress claims, EOT's and NoD's. As your experience grows, you will start to gain a strong understanding of Head Contract Management and preparing and presenting monthly Cost Reports to the Directors. Typically working on 1-2 concurrent projects depending on the size of the projects, you will gain strong exposure to working on site which in turn will grow your technical building skills.
The Builder are a well respected firm who build commercial projects $1 - $25M and growing. They pride themselves on team harmony, a strong culture and recognise people want to enjoy where they work and they are happy to facilitate as they feel this results in a productive workforce. The Work
