You’ll take operational control of complex civil and infrastructure projects across SE QLD: subdivisions, services, and earthworks from $1M - $20M+.

It’s a senior delivery role with genuine influence: lead teams, manage clients, drive systems, and set the standard as the business establishes in Tier 2 territory.

The Role

Lead the planning, execution, and handover of multiple civil projects.

Mentor emerging Project Managers, embed consistency across teams, and deliver excellence through structure, foresight, and commercial control.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to align delivery outcomes with business growth and client expectations.

$200,000 - $220,000 + Super + Car (aligned to capability)

What Winning Looks Like

• PMs and Engineers progressing under your guidance

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern comprehensive project plans, scopes, and milestones
• Lead project delivery across multiple concurrent sites
• Own budgets, forecasting, variations, and commercial reporting
• Drive QA/QC, compliance, and safety performance
• Coordinate procurement strategy, subcontractor letting, and contract management
• Lead client, consultant, and stakeholder communication, including PCG meetings
• Oversee documentation: RFIs, approvals, reports, and variations
• Conduct site reviews and resolve technical or logistical challenges
• Champion continuous improvement, standardisation, and digital integration
• Ensure professional close-out and client handover with as-builts and O&M manuals

You

• 10+ years’ experience in civil construction, with 3 - 5 years as Project Manager or Senior PM
• Proven record delivering $10M+ subdivisions or civil infrastructure projects
• Commercially sharp across D&C, Lump Sum, and Construct-Only delivery models
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability across multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and construction management platforms (SimPRO or similar)
• Excellent communicator and negotiator; you keep clients informed and teams aligned
• Deep technical knowledge of earthworks, drainage, roads, and civil structures
• Structured, accountable, and proactive; you stay ahead of issues
