The Rural Services Operations at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer (Rural Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme) to join their team on a temporary basis.

As the business continues to grow and embrace new technology, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Pre-Construction & Customer Service Coordinator to join their office-based team in Rhodes.
The Role:
This is a senior, hands-on coordination role, responsible for proactively driving each customer file from contract stage through to site commencement. Your day-to-day will involve:
Manage all pre-construction aspects of multiple client files, from contract preparation through to plan presentation meetings, and document preparation for council and third-party assessment;
Provide regular updates to clients on their house progress from pre-construction to maintenance;
Daily liaison of all departments within the business for multiple clients;
Management of client files through tools such as Onsite Companion and Constructive (internal portals)
Manage customer expectations and timelines across a multitude of different clients, projects and all of which were at different stages of the process;
Provide resolution and problem solving for clients experiencing difficulties with the process;
Liaise with third party brokers, bankers, council, developer, solicitors and other internal and external parties on behalf of the client to progress their file;
Report to the Pre-construction and Customer Service Manager and work alongside one other CSO.

About You:
You’re someone who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment. Ideally, you bring:
5+ years of experience in a Pre-Construction, Customer Service, or Contracts Coordinator role within residential construction
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate with clients, sales, councils, and internal teams
Confidence in decision-making and ability to progress multiple jobs simultaneously
A proactive attitude and desire to mentor and support others
Experience using portals like Onsite Companion, Constructive, or similar systems will be highly regarded.

The Parish Administration Officer assists the Parish Priest/Manager in the administration and pastoral activities in the parish.
This opportunity is a permanent, part-time position (18 hours per week). The work hours are 9:00am to 3:30pm - Monday and Friday plus another weekday (day negotiable).
This position is classified Level 4 under the Clerk Private Sector Award (2020). The hourly rate for this position is $31.19 ($561.42 per 18-hour week) plus superannuation, paid leave and leave loading.
Key Responsibilities
General administration, finance and secretariat duties, including meeting minutes.
Prepare the parish bulletin and post on social media and manage general updates.
Create PowerPoint presentations for weekend Masses (under the direction of the Priest).
Prepare correspondence and reports on behalf of the Parish Priest.
Create rosters for weekly Masses, altar servers, Children’s Liturgy leaders and musicians. Liaise with volunteers, parents of Altar servers, musicians and singers.
Maintain personnel and volunteer records.
Support the parish’s safeguarding practices, including Safeguarding compliance checks and records.
Selection Criteria
You will have experience in an administrative role and ready to take on a role with service to the community focus.
You will have strong verbal and written communication skills.
An ability to exercise strong judgement, initiative and maintain the highest level of professionalism and discretion at all times.
You will have sound experience in the Microsoft Office suite, and ability to work across a range of technology systems, databases and platforms. Experience using Reckon Hosted is desirable, but not essential.
