About Our ClientMartin Brothers Landscaping is a renowned name in Queensland's landscape construction sector. Known for their commitment to quality, professionalism, and attention to detail, they collaborate with Australia's most respected builders and developers. Their diverse project portfolio includes schools, childcare centres, multi-level podium landscapes, and urban precincts across South East Queensland.
What you'll be doing?Strategic Procurement: Source, quote, and procure materials, plants, and subcontractor services, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules while building strong supplier relationships.
Contract Management: Assist in preparing and reviewing subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and client documentation, ensuring compliance with AS4000 contract requirements.
Project Support: Liaise with project managers, site foremen, and the accounts team to meet contractual obligations and maintain organized project records.
Commercial Acumen: Contribute to estimating and tendering processes, monitor project budgets, and drive value management initiatives across projects.
Industry Experience: Ideally 2-3 years in procurement, contract administration, or project coordination, preferably in landscape or construction. Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply.
Contract Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction contracts (AS4000 or similar) to effectively navigate project requirements.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for negotiation.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in Procore, Buildxact, or similar systems being advantageous.
Organizational Pro: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: A proactive mindset and collaborative attitude to thrive in a supportive, experienced team.
