Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all works comply fully with contractual, legislative, and safety requirements.

  • Monitor workers to ensure full compliance with OH&S policies and procedures and verify that all necessary compliance documentation is complete and maintained.

  • Supervise planned and responsive maintenance works, managing multiple types of work orders under pressure across tenanted, vacant, community, and government properties.

  • Manage subcontractors and ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.

  • Prepare accurate scopes with zero variations.

  • Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and compliance audits.

  • Oversee budgets, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Prepare weekly schedules at least one week in advance to support efficient planning.

  • Complete weekly and monthly progress reports with accurate data and outcomes.

  • Report daily on work progress and completions.

  • Build strong, professional relationships with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in building, construction, or maintenance supervision.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and work effectively under pressure.

  • Experience managing multiple types of work orders simultaneously.

  • Relevant trade licence or equivalent practical experience.

  • Current driver’s licence.

  • Demonstrated ability to comply with all relevant contractual, legislative, and safety requirements.

  • Proven knowledge of OH&S compliance and site safety management.

  • Strong communication, planning, scheduling, and financial oversight skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • AroFlo experience highly regarded (or willingness to learn quickly).

  • Strong organisational and reporting skills to support planning and delivery.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, site-based supervisory position responsible for the day-to-day coordination of civil construction activities. You will oversee subcontractors and ensure works are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and play a pivotal role in the delivery of this multi-stage land development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all onsite civil works including earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and utility installations.

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, WHS, and environmental standards.

  • Monitor construction progress and proactively manage timelines and resources.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and provide detailed progress and risk assessment reports.

  • You'll draw on your experience to identify areas for improvement and create actions to realise continuous improvement. Above all, you'll always maintain the highest standards of safety.
