The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032 as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. The centres will offer childcare, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep. The centres will provide high-quality, accessible and inclusive early childhood education and care that is child centred, focused on learning through play and in nature, with strong connections to local communities.
Early Learning Victoria's central office is part of the Victorian Department of Education. The central team is leading the roll-out of the 50 centres and will support and oversee centre operations once they open.

Early Learning Victoria is establishing a government-owned early learning and childcare centre at McClelland Secondary College. Opening in 2026, this 102-place centre will provide long day care and Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten, eventually transitioning to include Pre-Prep.
Role PurposeThe Early Childhood Educator (Diploma qualified) will support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education, guided by evidence-informed, contemporary pedagogy and practice, which is aligned with the National Quality Standards, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and National Education and Care Law and Regulations. You will help create a positive learning environment which facilitate rich interaction and support children's social, emotional and cognitive development. You will build positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with families, children and colleagues, ensuring an inclusive environment where each child's learning and development needs are met, and the service's policies and regulatory standards are maintained.
Role Requirements:High Quality Practice: Coordinates an environment where children can flourish and thrive, supported by evidence-informed, pedagogy and practice that upholds all elements of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the National Quality Standards and is guided by the philosophy of Early Learning Victoria. Delegates tasks to team members which are consistent with qualifications to manage workload efficiently. Demonstrates regular reflective practice strategies and provides constructive feedback to staff to support professional development improvements.
Compliance and Child Safety: Has a high-level understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, Child Protection and Child Safe Standards, Approved Frameworks and all Early Learning Victoria policies and procedures. Ensures these are embedded in centre practices and are adhered to by team members.
Educational Delivery: Develops plans, delivers and coordinates integrated teaching and learning strategies, guided by the individual learning and development needs of each child. Encourages reflective practice with all members of the team to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching practices and their impact on children's learning and development. Completes documentation in relation to children's learning in line with organisational philosophy and evaluates the impact of teaching practices on children's learning. Plays an active role in providing clear communication with families regarding their child's development.
Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator (Diploma qualified) is desirable, delivering a high-quality play-based educational program
High- level understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework, Education Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, children, families and communities.
Experience working with vulnerable children and families is desirable.

Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) is a large service provider which works across metropolitan and country primary and secondary schools, providing instrumental instruction to students from Years 3 to 12. What you’ll be doing in these roles
Creche staff are responsible for engaging children in a safe and fun environment, supporting daily routines and activities, and assisting with the overall operation of the creche.

Ensure all children are registered by a parent/guardian on arrival
Assist children with creative activities, games, and eating and drinking
Attend to children’s toiletry needs including changing of nappies, as required
Ensure the crèche office, toilets and facilities are clean and orderly, and all toys and play equipment are sanitised regularly
Working morning shifts from 8:15 to 1pm, or afternoon shifts from 3pm to 7:15pm, with the possibility of Saturday shifts

Please note: This is a one-year contract position commencing in January 2026 which will have an opportunity to extend in 2027 for the right candidate.
Employment is subject to QCT Teaching requirements, child safety screening and eligibility for a Blue Card.
About You:We're seeking a dynamic leader who brings:
Postgraduate qualifications at Masters level in Education, Applied Linguistics, TESOL or equivalent
Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within international education
Track record in managing English language academic programs in a school setting
Strong knowledge of International Education regulatory frameworks including ESOS Act, CRICOS National Code 2018, ELICOS Standards 2018, and NEAS standards
Experience managing compliance reviews and audits
Demonstrated success in building and managing partnerships with diverse stakeholders
Excellent people management skills with the ability to recruit, develop and mentor teams
Strong strategic planning and change management capabilities
Demonstrated sensitivity to student needs and cultural differences
Experience with information systems, databases and CRM systems

What you’ll be doing:
Walking into your centre you’ll smile, as the early morning sun shines over our beautiful nature escape. When the door opens, you’ll smell the fresh home-style meals and feel the community spirit, while you catch up with your fabulous colleagues and your special little ones. You’ll encourage them to grow socially, emotionally while instilling a love for learning. You’ll work with a close-knit team of educators, to ensure our children enjoy a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment.
