About the Role

As a Regional Field Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Technical Service function of BYD Service centres. You will provide expert technical advice and hands-on diagnostic support across your assigned region. What you will bring to this role  

In order to be successful, during 2026 you must be in your final year of study towards a Civil Engineering Degree with the ability to commit to a minimum of the equivalent of 6 weeks works spread throughout the year (approximately 1 day per week). Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships is essential. You will be committed to your personal learning journey and keen to develop your skills as a professional engineer.

The key selection criteria for this role are: 

• Currently undertaking study towards a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering that will make the candidate ultimately eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in accordance with Victorian legislation.
