Our City Works department is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious person to join our Facilities Presentation team to be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a variety of public assets across our city. From playgrounds and skate parks to BBQs, bus shelters, footpaths and beaches, your work helps create a positive experience for residents and visitors alike.
You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, using small plant and cleaning equipment to deliver high-quality results across a rotating schedule. This is a hands-on, physically active role where every day is different, and your work truly matters.
Your key focus areas are:
Undertake a broad range of tasks associated with the cleaning of public facilities such as paths, BBQ’s, bus shelters, graffiti removal, beach cleaning, playgrounds, skate parks, CBD areas, benches and fish cleaning tables, and litter collection.
Operate small items of plant in accordance with policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Work with minimal supervision to carry out a broad range of tasks associated with facility cleaning functions.
Ensure that all activities are undertaken to the required legislative standards, practices and standard operating procedures, including WHS, quality and environmental controls
Ensure a high level of customer service in all dealings with internal and external customers and stakeholders
