We are seeking three casual hour contractor General Practitioners to join our service working 2-5 hours a week, days preferable for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday however can be flexible with the days. Time can be flexible on working days, flexibility to see patients on the way to and from other commitments. Business hours between 8am and 8pm.
In Home GP is seeking General Practitioners to join our team in providing accessible and quality health care services in the home to our community as well as in retirement villages. Our team provides care to numerous patients living with disability and complex chronic disease.
In Home General Practitioner attendances are accompanied by Registered Nurses for support and peace of mind. Our service provides both in home GP services as well as Telehealth services. The balance is approximately 50/50 in home/telehealth for our clients who are repeat customers of this service.
Our General Practitioners, Nurses and Administration team collaborate with the patient care teams and relevant service providers to assist the patient with meeting their health, personal and care need goals. Case conference for patient care planning is commonly a part of the service requirements.

The Role
As a General Practitioner with In Home GP, you will provide in person consultations to patients living in home or in retirement villages in Adelaide. The geographical areas requiring coverage are eastern suburbs, inner southern suburbs and far southern metropolitan Adelaide.
Your role will involve
• Providing telehealth and in home consultations in the community, in retirement villages with in person support from registered nurses.
• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including chronic disease management, acute conditions, sexual health, mental health, sleep disorders, skin conditions, and preventive health.
• Providing follow-up care and ongoing treatment plans for patients, ensuring continuity of care rather than one-off consultations.
• Issuing prescriptions, medical certificates, referrals, and pathology requests.
• Consulting with a mix of patients, some requiring simple care and some complex care and follow up.
• Working with the nursing and administration team.
• All gap fee payments are managed by the administration team.
• Providing your availability with a preferred availability of 3-5 hours each week.
• Working fully remotely using our cloud-based practice management system, with real-time support from Medical Director software

About the role
A unique opportunity has become available within the Mater Education Practice Improvement Centre (MEPIC) Simulation service for a Simulation Coordinator to join this dynamic, passionate and innovative team. This position is offered maximum term part time capacity at 20 hours per week for 12 months.
As a member of the Simulation Programs team, you will be working within a team responsible for daily operations of MEPIC and collaboratively provide coordination and support for a range of experiential simulation based activities including planning, development, delivery and evaluation of simulation activities within Mater facilities and off site for commercial activities and projects.
Salary range: $54.45 - $58.30 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Simulation Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of diverse simulation based activities including allocation and preparation of simulation resources. You will support delivery of high quality experiential simulation based activities providing expertise and guidance related to scenario design, simulation technology applications, equipment selection, moulage and console operation. This role also supports the daily operations of MEPIC and associated resources including bookings, equipment loans, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving. As a valued member of the simulation service you will also have an integral role in the provision of psychologically safe environments for learners, participants, colleagues and other faculty during briefing, debriefing and faculty professional development opportunities.
