What your day will look like….
You'll move fluidly between leading clinical excellence and shaping strategic direction. One moment, you might be consulting with a patient in antenatal clinic or performing a complex gynaecological procedure; the next, you'll be collaborating with on workforce planning, mentoring junior doctors, or contributing to service redesign. You'll be a visible and trusted leader—supporting your team, guiding clinical governance, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $476,894 (L27) comprising salary rates between $97.84 (L18) and $124.05 p.h. (L27), clinical managers allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

We have multiple clinics across QLD. Our clinic model is multimodality focusing on both mental and physical health. We have an incredible team with a long term team retention… we believe it because we LOVE what we do collectively as a team and we do all we can to ensure we have good team culture and our Practitioners are well supported.
We are seeking the following to expand our mental health team on these days (you could choose just one or all of these):
Caloundra. Ideally 1-2 days Monday, Thursday or Friday
Mooloolaba. Monday or Saturday
Noosaville. Mondays
Suitable for:
Clinical Psychologist or General Psychologist who consults with children and teens.
Ideally offering ADHD, dyslexia or ASD assessments (but not essential). We have the kits.
Flexible hours (work as much or as little as you like). We have some practitioners consulting 1 half day and some consulting fulltime.
Position available: Across Sunshine Coast at any of these locations Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Noosa and also Brisbane, Gold Coast

We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator/Receptionist with a background in allied health administration. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for clients, referrers and other stakeholders, you play a vital role in positively shaping the interaction that clients have with Avanti, ensuring that you provide excellent customer service through friendly and professional communication.
Primary Purpose of the Position
You are responsible for delivering professional front desk administration services to current and future Avanti clients while also providing administrative and process support to the allied health team. You will also assist the Manager to identify and nurture business development opportunities for Avanti Cheltenham and the development of new client engagement strategies.
Duties and Accountabilities
Provide exceptional service to members and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
Support the team by ensuring workflow and operational efficiency/excellence
Member and Client Liaison – greeting members, answering phone calls and verbal/email communication with clients, referrers and other stakeholders
Allied Health administration assistance, including appointment schedules, processing consultation fees and accounts management.
Database management including Nookal and Hapana.
Assist with managing client billing through Tyro, HICAPS, Medicare, DVA, Workcover, HCP, CHSP and private invoicing
Assisting allied health team with case management and ad hoc administration.
Assisting Sales and Marketing Team with facility tours and membership onboarding
Manage the cleaning and ordering/stocking of rooms/stationary/equipment
Requirements for the role
Experience in an allied health administration role is essential
Experience with practice management software (Nookal in particular is advantageous)
Experience with Hapana gym membership software or equivalent
Friendly personality with strong people skills
Medicare / DVA / NDIS / HCP / WORKCOVER knowledge and understanding
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
The ability to build client and stakeholder relationships
Profiecient computer skills in Microsoft Office
Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines
NDIS Worker Clearance and Police Check required
