About your role

As a Registered Nurse on Stradbroke Ward, you'll provide safe and compassionate clinical care across a diverse patient group, including general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, medicine, and palliative care. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation..
• Acting as a role model for best practice in patient care and clinical leadership.
• Collaborating effectively with medical, allied health, and nursing colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintaining clinical documentation and proficient use of electronic medical records (EMR).

About you

You are an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

You will have:

• Proven experience in medical/surgical nursing practice.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Commitment to lifelong learning, professional development, and reflective practice.
• Ability to work across all shifts as per roster requirements.
