The Opportunity
  • You will be offered a position on the fleet as an owner driver on a contract and a minimum revenue guarantee.

The Work
  • By joining the Point-to-Point courier sector as an owner driver, you will have access to daily adhoc work and potentially have access to permanent run work opportunities as well.
  • 50 hours of weekly availability to collect work is required.
  • Daily start time is between 7 and 8am.
  • The majority of work involves working with B2B clients, with a smaller portion consisting of B2C.

  • Instead of being limited to one or two fixed suburbs or a set territory, you'll explore a variety of suburbs across your metro area and surrounding regions — offering greater exposure to a wider client base and a refreshing change of scenery each day.

  • Ideally live within 30 mins of the Midvale Depot or live in an area that is suitable to take a Heavy Recovery Unit home to ensure response within 30 mins from receiving a job call.

  • Be flexible with rosters and understand that our industry includes callouts throughout the night, weekends and Public Holidays

  • Weekday hours can range from 8hrs to 15hrs when on call.

  • You may be required to be away from home overnight when on regional jobs.

  • Must be available for 1-2 rostered weekends per month which is for 24 hrs a day. This is on a rotation basis with other drivers.

Uniform and on the job training will be provided. Attractive salary and bonus system.

Must be available for regular weeknight and weekend overtime on a roster basis.

Requirements:

  • Towing Industry Experience highly regarded but not essential.

  • Minimum licence requirement MC.

  • DG & MSIC Licence an advantage.
