PM Role: 2 pm - 10 pm
Role and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience in the transportation sector and would like to progress in this area. As an Admin Assistant, you will be an integral part of our National Admin team and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth work of the department.
Your responsibilities will include various transport management and administration tasks, as well as assisting the depot manager with day-to-day administrative work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Daily processing of Proof of delivery paperwork
Answering all email and customer calls correspondence related to transport operations promptly and professionally.
Providing estimated times of arrivals off our driver on pickups and deliveries.
Proactively following up on missing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
General data entry
Administration work such as photocopying, scanning, archiving, etc;
Managing filing systems;
Preparing the files and necessary paperwork for line-haul /Local deliveries, debriefing paperwork.
Booking time slots at the distribution centres (DC) for the efficient movement of goods.
Handling pallet dockets and consignment notes (connote) accurately and maintaining proper records.
Processing customer notifications regarding waiting times, rejections and etc.
Utilize database software to organize operations information
Collaborating closely with the accounts and operation teams to assist with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the transportation industry is a must.
Experience in an administration role or similar; Data Entry and administrative processes ability and understanding;
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Advanced computer literacy skills (incl Excel); and the ability to pick up on new systems quick;
Strong and effective communication; Professional communication style, written and verbally; Good negotiation skills;
Ability to be flexible and learn new things; loves improving and learning new things even when they are difficult to grasp;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and organised
Strong problem-solving skills be accountable and take ownership for all of your work
Have exceptional organization and time management skills to ensure the timely and comprehensive completion of all responsibilities
Ability to accept direction, retain knowledge/training and follow instructions effectively and efficiently;

About the role
Team Global Express is currently seeking an experienced Linehaul Driver with a current MC licence and a BFM (or willing to obtain), to commence immediately at our Karawatha Depot based on Brisbane's South Side.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position (with a total fixed remuneration inclusive of 15% Superannuation) that provides you with the opportunity to assist our Linehaul Team to make deliveries from Brisbane to Rockhampton.
The successful applicant will be employed on a 6 and 4 Roster (Monday to Saturday & Sunday to Friday with a mid-week 48-hour break)
Must be available to commence during PM hours, and be fit and able to complete up to a 14 Hour Shift Overnight
There is no set allocation of trucks in this position
Must have previous experience in a similar role
Experience with Refrigerated Freight is preferred
Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
Safely deliver freight from Brisbane to Rockhampton (and back)
Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
Complete regular vehicle pre-start checks

$36.5772 per hour (Hourly Rate is paid for Deliveries in Rockhampton)
15% Superannuation
$56.28 Overnight Allowance
Ability to accumulate up to 11 RDOs on an Annual Basis
