Global Meats is a subsidiary of Superior Food Group. Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are actively seeking applications for a Delivery Driver to cover the day shift (7am start) shift based in Reservoir.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, this is a full-time position that involves delivering customer orders on a daily basis. If you have worked in a Meat or FMCG/distribution before, consider yourself physically fit, and have Victorian manual drivers license, this position could be for you.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
- Delivering customer orders as required around Melbourne (driving C class vehicle)
- Ensuring deliveries are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
- Checking orders and raising discrepancies.
- Unload
- General cleaning & maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
All about you
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Must hold a manual C class license with a clean driving history
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Previous delivery experience (advantageous)
- A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
- Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
