As an Underground Diesel Fitter, you'll be working across a fleet of underground mobile equipment-conducting servicing, fault finding, breakdowns, and general maintenance to keep production on track. Experience on Sandvik, CAT or Epiroc gear will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the electrical and instrumentation systems at Binduli and Paddington Operations' fixed plant (Processing Mill) and its surrounding work sites, safely and efficiently. Work is to be compliant with all relevant Statutory requirements and health and safety regulations
Duties:
Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections, equipment repairs and associated component change-outs.
Diagnose faults and plant/equipment breakdowns.
Regular inspections of tooling, equipment, work areas, and plant to identify hazards, operational compliance, damage and defects.
Carry out time and material estimations for planned tasks, and enter associated parts orders.
Report any hazards, accidents or injuries immediately to your direct Supervisor.
Assist new employees and Contractors in the application of Company Policies and Procedures.
Ensure maintenance activities are carried out to a high standard and following statutory requirements
Maintain required licenced trade knowledge to ensure continued compliant and safe electrical work practices.
Any other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of mine site fixed plant electrical experience
Minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship electrical work experience
Relevant trade qualification
Current unencumbered C/HR WA drivers licence
Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
High Voltage Switching certification (desirable)
High Risk Work Licence Certifications:
Forklift (desirable)
Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
Non-slewing crane (desirable)

About the role
Norton is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join the fixed plant maintenance team, supporting the Paddington Processing Plant and Binduli Heap Leach Operations.
Duties:
Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns.
Shutdown tasks as directed
Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns
Use Pronto to enter work order detail such as estimated task duration and material requirements
Work planning
Undertaking repairs and component change
Fabrication and modification – workshop and field
Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections, equipment repairs and associated component change outs.
Regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring good working order.
Conduct inspections to identify hazards, operational compliance, damage and defects.
Provide training, supervision and support to Apprentices, where required.
Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.
Adherence to company procedures and assist new employees and Contractors in the application of Company Policies and Procedures.
Ensure all tasks are completed and carried out safely
Additional duties over shutdown as required.
Any other duties as required
Skills and experience:
Minimum of 2 years mine site fixed plant Boilermaking experience
Minimum of 5 years post apprentice Boilermaking work experience
