About the role:
As an Australian Defence Force partner, Ventia works across some of Australia's newest, most unique equipment including artillery, small arms, instruments, night vision equipment, high-tech armoured vehicles, personnel carriers, and propulsion equipment.
Due to continued growth we are looking for Heavy Vehicle Mechanics at Robertson Barracks, Darwin NT, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy military vehicles, including 4WD's, trucks, tracked and armoured vehicles, infantry personnel carriers and even armoured tanks!

TIG WELDER & FABRICATOR
We are a mechanical workshop seeking a highly skilled Tig Welder & Fabricator that can weld alloy and stainless steel with precision and high attention to detail. Jobs will include building and restoring custom cars and race cars, as well as general welding repairs for industry.
For this position we are looking for:
Minimum 3-5 years of TIG welding experience is required.
Candidates with or without current Australian work authorisation will be considered.
Welding certifications or trade qualifications are required.
High precision fabrication welding ability is essential for this role.
Ability to maintain a clean work environment, be highly punctual and committed to the role.
A team player as well as the ability to work autonomously.
Permanent full-time hours will be offered to the right candidate with pay rate dependent on experience.
As the cars completed need to be engineer compliant, the applicant must be able to follow clear instructions.

Key duties include:
