This part-time Enrolled Nurse role at, At Ease Community Nursing in Townsville, QLD offers an exciting opportunity to provide quality nursing care to clients within the local community. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' health and wellbeing while contributing to the overall success of our nursing team.
What you'll be doing
Delivering professional nursing care to clients in their homes, and within the community
Assisting with: Wound care, post operative care, mobility assistance, medication management, palliative care, general and mental health and personal care and hygiene, as per care plans
Monitoring client health status and reporting any changes to the registered nurses
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client documentation
Contributing to the continuous improvement of nursing practices and procedures
Ability to work mornings and afternoons and some weekends
What we're looking for
Completion of an approved Enrolled Nursing programme and current or pending AHPRA registration
New graduate, or experience as an Enrolled Nurse
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
Current full driver's license required for community visits
Experience in a community nursing or aged care setting, providing direct client care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

Our specialist medical clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis from January 12th 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work within a busy, well-established practice primarily supporting two highly regarded colorectal surgeons. About the Role
As a key member of our administrative team, you will manage the day-to-day coordination of two specialists’ practices with a focus on ensuring a seamless, world-class patient experience. The role is full-time Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the doctors’ schedules, patient appointments and surgical bookings
Providing fee estimates, processing payments, and issuing invoices
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
Managing incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries with professionalism and care
Assisting with general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and document preparation
Coordinating with hospitals and other healthcare providers as required
Managing the waiting room and ensuring a calm, welcoming environment
Supporting the specialists and practice manager with daily operational tasks
You will work closely alongside the practice manager, two other medical receptionists, an administration assistant, and two practice nurses, within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two dedicated and suitably experienced (at least 2 years post-graduation) Registered Nurses to join our Intensive Care Family.
This is a 24-month (0.8 FTE) Transition to Critical Care Program affiliated with the Australian Catholic University (ACU). Successful completion awards the participant two subjects towards a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care) at ACU. Permanent positions will be available within our Intensive Care Team.
This program involves a combination of self-directed study, practical sessions, and lectures in a well-supported practical environment. The focus of this program is to help participants develop a problem-solving approach to decision making in critical care. The program encourages critical thinking and reflective practice to link theory to practice. Through this course you will have a chance to further develop your depth of knowledge in acute deterioration, the management of advanced technology and pharmacology support of critical care patients whilst working with highly skilled Education, Nursing, Medical and Allied Health staff. You will become part of a valued Team both in ICU and as a member of the St Vincent's family.
