About the Role
We are seeking a Junior or Experienced Tax Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and lodging a range of individual and business tax returns, along with providing general administrative support to ensure smooth operations across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and lodge basic tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and small businesses
· Maintain and update ASIC company records as required
· Assist clients and bookkeepers with general tax and compliance enquiries
· Support new and existing clients in setting up MyGovID / MyID credentials when needed
· Perform general administrative and office tasks to support daily operations
About You
· Registered Tax Agent or working toward registration (desired but not essential for junior candidates)
· Experience in tax preparation (junior applicants may have limited experience; training provided)
· Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
· Excellent communication and client-service skills
· Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
· Familiarity with accounting or tax software (helpful but not required)

The Company

About The Role:
The role offers exposure to a wide variety of tasks associated with the various accounting and taxation needs of their clients and includes, but is not limited to:
Leading a small team to achieve Company driven goals and directives;
Exposure to a variety of industries, including medical, professional services, trade, agriculture, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and property;
Assistance with and responsibility for the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for clients including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals;
Assistance with the preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements;
Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns and Payroll tax returns.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 5 years prior experience in Accounting with a strong academic track record;
Exceptional communication skills and leadership qualities to motivate and engage a small team;
Strong understanding of Australian tax law and accounting concepts;
