Your Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care — take charge of triaging every patient who walks through the door with accuracy, empathy, and confidence.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse.
  • Must be available evenings and weekends.
  • Meet the minimum experience level in any one of the following:
    • 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting OR
    • 3 years of triage experience OR
    • 3 years of experience in ICU, CCU, Rural or remote nursing.
  • Previous experience in triage with an emergency department, remote nursing is preferred.
  • You will be required to provide a Working with Children’s check and National Police check if not already obtained.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Can work autonomously and delegate when appropriate.
  • A passion for patient-centered care and a personable approach.

Clinical Support

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking experienced and dedicated PENs and RPNs who meet the following requirements:

Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (PEN)
  • Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a PEN
  • Work rights in Australia  
  • A Valid National Police Check
  • Up-to-date Vaccinations
Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)
  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
  • Postgraduate or Masters in Mental Health
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a RPN
  • Work rights in Australia  
  • A Valid National Police Check
  • Up-to-date Vaccinations

About the role

Ormond Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team for approx. 2 sessions a week with an already existing caseload.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-quality remedial massage therapy to our diverse patient base, addressing a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Utilising a variety of massage techniques working with experienced physiotherapists.

  • Collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

What we're looking for

  • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Registration with a relevant Remedial Massage professional body with the ability to obtain provider numbers with all major private health funds.

  • Excellent hands-on skills and a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology.

  • Strong assessment and problem-solving abilities to effectively address patients' needs.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a positive patient experience

  • A commitment to continuous learning and an ability to work as part of a team.

GPH employs over 400 staff including many qualified health and other professionals including peer workers and community workers.  GPH operations cover a large regional geographical footprint in NSW and ACT. 
 
About the position
The Mental Health Clinician will work collaboratively within the Mental Health team to undertake individual assessments, develop targeted rehabilitation plans and provide evidence based psychological interventions for a diverse range of consumers with mental health needs and their families and carers.

We have one position available on a part-time basis up to 30 hours per week (days and hours negotiable), based at Queanbeyan. This is a fixed term contract up until 30th June 2026.
 
We are looking for someone with:
  1. Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Aboriginal Health Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for occupational therapists in mental health), or accreditation (or working towards) with the AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker.
  2. Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers
  3. Demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services
  4. Understanding of the biological, psychological and social underpinnings of mental health
