We have a great opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Darwin. Reporting to the Group Leader, you will have an opportunity to lead a team to deliver civil design projects including roads infrastructure, subdivisions and remote community facilities. This is a great career pathway for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer looking for the next opportunity to expand their technical and leadership capabilities in a global engineering consultancy.

About the role
This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design, construction documentation and supervision. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management.
The role will suit will a Senior Civil Engineer with Australian experience, someone who has good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of projects.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Civil design and project management across a wide range of projects
Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.
Managing clients and other consultants.
Assist with project management and business development.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and documentation
Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and Territory requirements
Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible
Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance

About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Scientist - Water Technology, the Engineer is a member of a small team responsible for providing expert advice, guidance and delivering program in water technologies including storm water, recycled water and wastewater treatment. You will inform regulatory and strategic decisions by the EPA about complex water and wastewater treatment problems, aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste. This is an exciting role for an engineer that wants to contribute to the success of the EPA. Experience with managing and supporting ERP systems and business-critical applications
