The successful applicant will possess:
Knowledge of Resly PMS is preferred but not essential.
Strong time management skills and a meticulous attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
Ability to lead a small team in absence of the General Manager
Experience in a similar Guest Services/ Receptionist role preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing all guests with superior service standards, ensuring for an exceptional guest experience at our business
Organising the day-to-day operation of the accommodation division including: Housekeeping/maintenance divisions
Assessing and reviewing guest’s preferences, satisfaction and responding to guest enquiries and guest reviews
Ability to develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all valued guests and team members
Ability to work full time on a rotating roster.

In the role of Project Manager, you will project manage the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects through the provision of technical expertise, project management experience and the administration of contracts to the design, construction and maintenance processes associated with project delivery. In doing this you will ensure effective coordination of key operational activities and resources associated with project management of complex projects.
Accountabilities include:
• Project manage multiple road infrastructure projects, or more complex projects throughout the project life cycle.
• Use technical knowledge, expertise and leadership to co-ordinate all relevant activities to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Ensure all operational system procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of projects to a high and consistent standard.
• Ensure all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary for the delivery of projects are complied with.
• Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of team members.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions

• A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).

• A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the State.
Desirable requirements
• A Diploma in Project Management and accredited Frontline Management qualification is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in the road construction or maintenance industry.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer, Generation/Grid Connections. This role will see you undertaking comprehensive and detailed analysis of generation, storage and load connections to the AusNet electricity distribution network.
As part of the shift to renewable energy across our electricity distribution network, you will be expected to undertake the technical studies required by connections under chapter 5 and chapter 5A of the National Electricity Rules to accelerate our growth to a sustainable future.
This hybrid role (Office/WFH) is based in Southbank, Melbourne, and sits within our Distribution line of business.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including, but not limited to:
Undertake comprehensive and detailed network analysis in SINCAL, PSCAD, PSSE, Power Factory to ensure compliance
Negotiate and prepare generation performance standards and supporting reports
Investigate network security, capacity, reliability and quality of supply issues related to the generator, storage and load connections to the distribution network
Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders and coordinate development of solutions for major connections to electricity distribution network
Assist in development of strategies (technical, process, system, capability) that enable the successful negotiation of new connection opportunities
Influence end-to-end grid connection process, generator performance standard, R0, R1 and R2 processes
Maintain effective relationship with customers and key stakeholders, including AEMO and participation in industry advocacy forums with other NEM participants
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
A passion for facilitating and accelerating the energy transition while delivering our customers’ energy needs today
Demonstrated years of experience in the energy industry preferably with some of it being in utilities
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a discipline relevant to power systems analysis, electricity transmission, distribution and generation
Advanced technical knowledge and robust experience in grid connection engineering
Strong experience in leading or facilitating grid connections and plant commissioning and testing, will be highly regarded
Computer aided simulation using PSCAD, PSSE, Power Factory and SINCAL
Ability to interpret and implement business strategies and prepare written submissions on technical issues
Broad understanding of the energy regulatory landscape
Registered as Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia or ability to be registered
