An immediate opportunity has arisen for a mature, enegetic individual with good communication skills to join the well established team.
This role would suit a mechanically minded individual with good employment history in a factory maintenance or site role who is looking for something a little different is is prepared to be retrained. You may also have been working in the HVAC or construction sector.
The role does involve some site work (Brisbane metro only) and a vehicle will be provided as required. A valid driver's licence is required.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in a factory or plant maintenance role. A trade is not mandatory, T/A level skills and a proactive attitude is. Good mechanical problem solving skills required.
You will also need to be willing to get your hands dirty and have a moderate level of fitness.
Starting Salary (PFT): $80k pa plus super.

This position will be for the Night Shift, working from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday to Thursday. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a 30% shift loading and opportunities for occasional overtime.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will provide electrical support throughout the site by responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. About the Company
We specialise in project engineering, design and management of maintenance and capital projects within the mining and petrochemical industries. Our team also provides 3D Laser Scanning services for asset inspection and management, brownfields projects and as built verification for new and existing installations.
About the role
Your role will be based primarily in Kwinana working as a Project Engineer. You will be expected to complete design tasks and complete projects, acting as our client’s representative.
Working closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of maintenance and capital projects.
The role provides great exposure for mechanical engineers with 2- 5 years experience to a wide section of industry on the Kwinana strip including bulk material handling and process piping.
Duties
This role will involve writing scopes of work, developing engineering drawings, organising quotations, completing procurement activities, tendering and evaluation, overseeing design and construct type contracts, arranging permits and ensuring that the contractors meet the requirements of the work as defined in the scope of work document. You will be the point of contact for site technical queries from contractors and resolving these technical queries for the project. You will monitor quality and adherence to engineering standards reporting back deviations from the standards.
Skills and Experience
Preferred candidates would have 2- 5 years experience in a similar project engineering role.
CAD experience in Inventor, AutoCad, Solidworks or similar preferred

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review civil engineering drawings for residential and low-rise developments, including structural assessments such as load calculations, foundation design and drainage layouts.
Use engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) to produce and support technical documentation.
Review geotechnical reports, coordinate soil testing and evaluate materials, construction methods and engineering specifications to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local council requirements.
