The role:

  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment in accordance with OEM specifications and site maintenance procedures

About The Position

Working an 8&6 roster and reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a critical role in the maintenance department by ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.

Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to:

  • Perform HV switching, isolations, and testing in line with site procedures and WA Mines Regulations
  • Conduct maintenance, inspections, and fault-finding on HV and LV equipment, including substations, switch rooms, fixed plant and mobile equipment
  • Assist with planning and execution of shutdowns, HV audits, and statutory compliance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records, permits, and electrical documentation
  • Support safe production by working closely with Maintenance, Operations and HSET
  • Participate in site safety initiatives, risk assessments and toolbox meetings

What You Will Bring

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • High Voltage Switching Ticket (mandatory)
  • Experience in mining, heavy industry, or power generation

A new gold operation is about to kick off, and we’re seeking experienced production operators to join from day one. These roles require operators who can hit the ground running, so applicants must have solid production mining experience. Our contractor manages multiple sites across the Goldfields, so can offer ongoing job security for the right people.

Positions & Pay Rates:

  • Rigid Dump Truck / Water Cart Operators: $55/hr

  • Production Allrounders (Grader, Dozer, Excavator): $65–68/hr

  • Production Excavator Operators: $68–70/hr – EX1200 or similar preferred

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ production experience, preferably in gold, lithium, or hard rock operations

  • FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie residential

  • 2:1 roster (2 weeks on / 1 week off)
