Process Operator for shift position in a chemical manufacturing plant, working as part of the operations team reporting to the crew team leader through the shift operating equipment in a safe, productive, and efficient manner to maximise plant performance and achieve quality product to meet customer requirements.
Casual to permanent once probation period is completed.
This is a shift based position on lifestyle roster 12 hour roster.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Operating the plant and equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise the effectiveness of production through effective usage of systems and procedures in areas of the processing plant.
· Identify and communicate items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.
· Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the processing plant.
· Identifying and providing recommendations on process improvements.
· Operator roles and duties as directed by team leader.
