About the Role: Night Shitft 7pm -3am, Monday to Friday with optional overtime and weekends available.
Road Sweepers provide cleansing duties in support of Western Sydney, roads and footpath sweeper operation, drainage and a range of tasks related to the maintenance of infrastructure.
The Road Sweeper will undertake programmed and reactive cleansing operations utilising the mechanical road sweeper and associated equipment in performing maintenance and cleansing to the road and roadside infrastructure and amenity assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards while operating machinery.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

About the Opportunity

Join the SSN AUKUS Build Program as a Construction Tooling Manager, where you’ll lead the planning, manufacture, certification, and lifecycle management of construction tooling for Australia’s first nuclear-powered submarine build. Operating within the Build Readiness IPT, you’ll collaborate with production, safety, ICT, procurement, and external providers to ensure tooling is safe, fit-for-purpose, and delivered in line with program milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the construction tooling strategy and plan
  • Manage tooling manufacture, certification, and lifecycle
  • Ensure tooling is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with production needs
  • Oversee tooling assurance, training, and compliance with safety and technical standards
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external suppliers
  • Ensure tooling is certified, compliant, and accepted by end users
  • Maintain alignment with evolving program milestones and operational readiness

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Trade Certification with relevant industry experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Experience in defence, shipbuilding, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to manage tooling manufacture, procurement, certification, and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and technical performance standards
  • Experience with tooling tracking systems and digital asset management
  • Proficient in MS Office and tooling database systems
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance
