Following our recent warehouse expansion to 1600 sqm, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Stock Inventory Controller to join our growing team.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Stock Inventory Controller to manage our inventory operations and ensure seamless stock control across our extensive product range. This casual position offers 25 hours per week with the opportunity to transition to full-time and is critical to maintaining our commitment to next-day delivery and keeping our customers supplied with the right products at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

·         Manage inventory levels across 1600 sqm warehouse facility

·         Forecast demand and maintain our 4-month reorder system

·         Monitor stock levels and coordinate orders with local and overseas suppliers

·         Manage seasonal demand spikes and plan inventory accordingly

·         Maintain accurate records using MYOB and Excel

·         Conduct regular stock takes and reconciliations

·         Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries

·         Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies

·         Generate inventory reports and performance metrics

·         Support warehouse operations and order fulfillment

Essential Requirements

·         Fluent in Microsoft Excel - advanced formulas, pivot tables, forecasting models

·         Proficient in MYOB - inventory management and reporting

·         Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management

·         Strong numerical and analytical skills

·         Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·         Ability to manage long lead times (up to 4 months for overseas orders)

·         Strong organizational and time management skills

·         Effective communication skills

·         Flexibility to work 25 hours per week on a casual basis

Desirable Skills

·         Experience in the printing or paper industry

·         Knowledge of supply chain management

·         Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques

About You

  • Experience with all aspects of aluminium window and door manufacturing including handling of all materials (aluminium extrusions, glass, timber reveals and hardware), cutting, punching and machining aluminium, assembly and glazing, delivery of completed units etc.

  • Able to read and interpret production orders such as reports, cutting lists and instructions.

  • Had experience with the flexible nature of our work that requires the successful applicant to be confident, mature, self-motivated and able to work in a versatile team environment.

  • Be able to operate hand tools in fabrication and assembly process.

  • Able to assist with loading and unloading of deliveries

  • Full Australian working rights or permanent residency - essential
